Manny Pacquiao, "The People's Champ"

Manny Pacquiao from Philippines is considered by many as the greatest of all time. 7 different world class weight divisions titles is pure insane. I watched the last match(i think everyone did...lol) against Cotto and I thought was crazy...I was never a big fan of boxing, but for the first time I was on the edge of the seat watching the sport...I really was on the edge of the couch of my friends hauz and thought it was comftable...hehe..rooting for pacquiao win or lose no matter what...lol
Pacquiao is so quick, agressive, and smart on the ring. I could just imagine the months of training and tactics they put together before that match and same for his opponent.  But of course the better fighter wins. Also he's working with one of the best trainer Freddy roach his sensei..

Couple of years back I thought boxing was going down, and it was time for mixed martial arts. But from my point of view, manny pacquiao had made a big contribution today in bringing the competitive sport back...i mean im not that deep into the boxing or anything as I said, and to me It just shows how much heart he is showing through his competiveness, calmness, humbleness...etc all the ness..lol
I'll be watching clips on youtube of him to see some of the other fights. I think the last one with cotto take so much out of him but then again right after he supposedly booked a concert to sing eight songs.
That was insane, I want to do sumthin like that...haha

also I found this clip about two weeks ago him singing on Jimmy kimmel show
"Sometimes when we Touch"
I guess all that singing brings lots of energy and calmness in preparing for his fights...hehe

Prayers for the Victims of Typhoon Ondoy

Typhhon Ondoy flooded the entire city in Philippines...(Metro Manila)..and may other deep places in the country.
I don't really keep up as much with the Latest news in the Philippines but when I heard the news from my dad, I actually tuned in to the Filipino Stations on tv to see what's goin on. It was really shocking what happened there. I heard that it was a lot stronger than that Hurricane Katrina. This happened like 5 or 6 days ago...and I heard that a new typhoon is about to hit again in a few days.
I used to lived in Valenzuela city in Manila, I wonder how the situation is over there.
As far as I know, Philippines is somewhat accustomed to big storms, but I think this has to be the biggest one and the worst in the history of the country.
They're not even close to moving on from the damage left by Ondoy and they're about to get hit by another one.

My prayers to all the victims.

R.I.P. Patrick Swayze 1952-2009

Patrick Swayze died at the age of 57 after his long battle with cancer.
He was diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer in January 2008. He passed away monday according to the article I read online.
He starred in more than 30 films during his career in the industry and as well as many tv movie series.
He became a household name after he starred in the movie "Dirty Dancing", shortly following his biggest hit, the movie "ghost".
Other great movies I remembered that he was involved: Point Break, Red Dawn, Road House, Young Blood, Too wong foo, The Outsiders...
Patrick Swayze will be remembered as one of the most brilliant actor of our time.

My thoughts and prayer for his family and friends.

MTV Video Music Awards 2009

I watched the video music awards on mtv the other night sine I really have nothing to do....Anybody here watched it?
It was a paid tribute to michael jackson in the beginning of the show. Madonna started the show by giving her very moving speech about her relationship with MJ. One of the quotes that she mentioned, "Sometimes we have to lose things before we can truly appreciate them.",is one of the most common learning facts while growing up, and she had put it in a deeper understanding with her story. It was followed by a dance performance which include janet jackson recreating the only music video they were together(I might be wrong)"Scream". I already considered the whole intermission would be the best part of the night since I don't really support the new music mainstream these days, so I straight up thought they would suck...lol..jk..there are some that I like though.

The whole drama controversy for the night came or the most"highlighted" part is when the award for the best female video something was given,..Taylor swift won the award. I thought that girl deserve the award no matter what..then Kanye West came to the stage out of nowhere(how did he do that..lol) and disrupt this girl while giving her thank you speech just to say that Beyonce had the best video of all time...I was like WOW Kanye west!!..thats insanity...was he drunk?..taking the rudeness to the next level.
Beyonce is fire alright, but it was almost nothing to do with her when this dude mentioned her name.(its more like im on stage now and im here to stop the wrong doings). I still like his music no matter what, just got to separate his personality. Dont really care much for the ego he has to offer to the rest. His motives is like if it doesn't go his way, everyone should stop and make sure everybody know...just assuming..which is good sometimes on right occasions. I almost thought it was another one of those staged drama, but it would'nt really make sense.

And as expected, this controversy is still going on today. Even at my job they were talkin about it. Overall, I think he should not be invited on anymore award shows.
movin on,..Lady Gaga was taking "weirdness" to the next level...lol...guess this is fashion in the future and we must adjust or I should adjust. There was one when she look like a ninja and a duck or some sort of flying animal..lol..Its one of those that makes you say what the hell..but then again alright its fashion, self expression, art.
The last performance with Jay-z and Alicia Keys "Empire State of Mind"...I thought was one of the best song. Im from Jersey and I thought that song represent well. It sorta moved me too. Im goin to download it. Feelin that song...Listen to it.

Art Showcase Battle

About 4 months ago, i participated in an art showcase battle for one of my crew member in her school. I just got the footage today from another family crew member and I wanted to share it to everyone. I guess art does come in just about any form. something that is "limitless". on this particular subject, I believe the artist is trying to capture the movements on the ground. ever heard the quote: "the floor is my canvas, and my body is the brush"...hehe..not sure if thats the exact term...somewhat close I guess this is close to the idea.

Art Showcase battle from Joseph Reyes on Vimeo.

Im the one in adidas pants with stripes and my crew member saigon is the one on the opposite side.

Former President Corazon C. Aquino Dies, (January 25, 1933 – August 1, 2009)

She was the president of the Philippines from 1986 - 1992. The 11th president of the the country and asia's first female president. She was installed as the next leader by the peaceful 1986 "People Power Revolution".
She was held as "woman of the year" by the TIME magazine in 1987.
It was a Very sad news today in the philippines.
Cory Aquino Died at the age of 76 from a cardio respiratory arrest.
Found out the news through my dad who's almost always updated with the news in Philippines.
She is one of the biggest influence and had impacted not just the homeland but the World as well and shaped History during her time.
I don't remember much back then since I was little at the time she was a president and all the political activities that was going on in Philippines. I do remember my parents and relatives getting involved though. I remember seeing the picture where my sister was carrying me on her shoulders during the edsa revolution. I don't have the picture since it's in the Philippines. I was a year old and a couple months or something..(I was walking already..lol).
And as time pass by, I learned more about the history and its importance.

Prayers and many thanks to "CORY"
Salamat.

About "Encore Status Entertainment"

Encore Status is an online magazine created to expose the under exposed. There are extremely talented unsigned and independent artists that go unnoticed…their Hardship, Hardwork, and Hustle to produce fine pieces of work often go unheard and unseen.

“New-Stream is Mainstream” is the slogan that we thrive by…

We recognize the work of these recording artists, fashion designers, artists, and filmmakers — and give them mainstream-like attention. As our name indicates, we’d like to hear more from them. Our focus, our future, and format is to compliment the artist’s ‘push’ by PULLING the outside world into theirs –using creativity and interactivity.

For Encore Status Entertainment…it truly isnt ‘About Us’ …our drive is wholeheartedly inspired by many of YOU.

Michael Jackson R.I.P. 1958 - 2009

Past away at the age of 50.

I was on my way home from Work yesterday, When I heard the news on the radio...Very sad news...To me, he was the greatest musician in the history, if not - he has to be one of the best. I'm pretty sure many people feel the same way. He will be missed by many. Im always inspired to listen to his music since most of his songs has positve message and is already making its impact just by listening.

Im kinda mad since i've never made it to any of his concert or seen him in person.

"His Music will Live Forever".
"One of the Greatest Music Legend in History".
"The King of Pop"

Too many words to describe.

Share your thoughts.

Wimbledon 2009

Wow...Wimbledon started already,..I forgot, its two weeks after Frenh Open...oh well.
I Think Federer is Gonna win it again(we all know his the best) or maybe Nadal...unless another dark knight shows up and destroys everyone all the way to the finals...hehe
On the women's side...Serena williams is a very unexpected player on the court and can win it if she goes hard like always...I think shes the best player right now in my opinion...maybe sharapova, her sister venus or jankovic are the potential ones than can take it this year I think...I could be wrong big time.

Just one of the practice days...

I was practicing at Balleys the other night...I was learning how to control my air freeze more and trying to stay up there for a couple of seconds...It worked out well even though I don't really do a lot of this type of air poses...I kinda like ground freezes more.

Marie Digby

I Was Driving Back Home from Work Yesterday, When I heard the song"Part of the List"..wasn't really sure who sung it first, but i guessed it was "Neyo" coz it just sounded like him...lol..I was right newayz..then the radio host had said the title...As soon as I got back home, I went to look for it on utube and saw another video cover of the same song.the singer was "Marie Digby" and she sings really good.
Just fell in love with her voice and her beatiful looks...Killer!...it just match
If you visit her channel,..she does her original songs, and many other cover songs.
I'm now deaf from its pure awesomeness...lol
I would like to rquest a song later.

Roger Federer won the 2009 French Open

Awesome...Roger won his 14th grandslam title...craziness!..beating Robin Soderling in 3 sets Straight...I think he's the all-time best, if not-heading to that point or close...
Andre Agassi was next to him..the last person on the men's side to win all 4 major titles...
I actually like Nadal more than Federer...I like the style of play, maybe because he's lefty that I can somehow relate since I play with my left as well...but in consideration...federer is really the Best right now...

David Carradine 1936-2009 R.I.P.

Found this on yahoo.

David Carradine was both a star of television and of the big screen. He was the lead in the wildly popular 1970s series "Kung Fu," and he appeared in over 100 movies, becoming the only actor to star in movies by Martin Scorsese, Ingmar Bergman, and Quentin Tarantino. On June 4th, he was found dead at age 72 in his hotel room in Bangkok.

Can't Believe his dead, hes one of my all time favorite actors.I always been a fan of his martial art...Grew up watching the series Kung fu...
The movie kill bill became one of my favorite...
Its like if you see his name in a kung fu movie...I get the vibe that its going to be good and worth watching it.
Very sad day, Im pretty sure he'll be missed by many people

Best Money Maker System Online

I was online yesterday searching for the some legit home online business...I only tried the six figure yearly program,..and I thought that it was good...they make you understand it in a very simple way...here I am trying it out on Blogs...I havent tried the other ones,..but I think that these ones are real...I mean I keep in mind that about 91% of the business programs online are scams. One thing I would suggest to find out if its real is if they support the full money back guarantee thing.
I believe that ones you get connected or learn one of this programs, they might have some similarities of making income online.
Make sure to read them carefully if you wold you like to start any of them.
Its worth the try...at least I was able to put it to work.

Heres the one I tried...seems everything is similar to the six figure income type

Eminem and Bruno stunt at MTV Awards...

I saw this on the news the other day...its been the talk over the internet for a minute...i dont think it was staged even if it was, something is not right(just gotta wait for eminems response). but anyhow just didnt like how it was...Im not a big fan of eminem but I do like his rap songs coz it make sense...considering the kind of music we have in todays society...Its like "Junk food in hip hop"-its hard to defend some of this rap because the music is good but there's no meaning to it....We all know famous artists have fanbase, but at least consider his own image through music and the media,..he would never base his judgement through fanbase...People follow him because they relate to his music and rap lyrics...Everyone has different characters, differnt struggles and backgrounds in life...we all have limitations, and taking it as a joke would not be a realistic response, only u could apply that if your an easy going person.
I think MTV is doing everything they can to gain all the attention and get as much viewers for their ratings.like in the internet world, Driving a traffic to your website. Its not even a music channel anymore..lol...it should be a reality show channel.
